The "Route"
 

Long, lazy days, breathtaking scenery, good company and high adventure. These are the ingredients for our holiday of a lifetime.

It only seems like yesterday that we invited ourselves on Ian and Tilly's "All Aussie Adventure." As numbers to this elite group grew, and grew, and grew.......... we thought that we might have to hire a bus to accommodate everyone. However, numbers soon dwindled as the reality of setting up camp every night for three months, deflated air matresses, not so perfect weather, long days in the saddle and soaring fuel prices soon hit home.

Two years of preparation include buying a new 1500cc Suzuki Boulevard (Graeme's birthday present. Can't wait for my birthday!) and building a new camper trailer. We conducted many short trips to fine-tune our requirements for three months on the road. Of course we will have packed too many clothes and the tool that we really need will not be in the bulging tool kit, but I am sure at the end of our three months we will be either expert campers or divorced.

So please join us living our dream of motorcycling around Australia. Despite the subtitle of "Picnic Tables Around Oz", there will only be the occasional photo of naked picnic tables in our photo gallery!
